We use the information we collect to provide weather data and notifications. We also use the information to create, develop, operate, deliver, and improve our products, services, content, and advertising.
Information cannot be linked to a particular user unless that user manually provides us with their anonymized, randomly-generated device or user ID.
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services. Specifically, we retain only your most recent location and associated device and user IDs if you have notifications enabled.
Location Information
You may opt to grant "RainArt" access to your current location ("Location Information") to receive localized weather forecasts. This feature requires access to your device’s current location, even when the Application is not currently running. Where available, location-based services may use GPS, Bluetooth, and your IP Address, along with crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower locations, and other technologies to determine your device’s approximate location. Your Location Information will be used to request and display weather data and notifications for your current location.
Your Location Information will be shared automatically with our weather data providers, such as Apple's WeatherKit, when you request weather data for your current location.
Information Disclosure
We may preserve or disclose your information, including Location Information, if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or request from public and government authorities within or outside your country of residence, such as to comply with a subpoena or for law enforcement purposes.
Third-Party Data Processors
"RainArt" uses Google's Firebase for certain features and functionalities, and Apple's WeatherKit for weather forecasts. These services may collect, process, and store information about you, including but not limited to your IP address and Location Information.

Midjourney Generated Content
"RainArt" utilizes a third-party service, Midjourney, to generate images and illustrations that are displayed within the Application. The use of Midjourney does not involve the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information of the Users.
Advertising
"RainArt" does not use your information to increase advertising relevancy or measure effectiveness. Your Location Information will not be shared with third parties.
Website Visitors
As is true of most internet services, we gather some information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (“ISP”), referring and exit websites and applications, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information to understand and analyse trends, to administer the site, to learn about user behaviour on the site, to improve our product and services, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or Europe, where our servers are located, and our central databases are operated.
